if wishes were horses beggars would ride, all dreams and desires would ride alongside.
Jim was content.
Most of her crew had gotten the shore leave they so desperately needed, finally; she herself wasn't planning on participating, seeing as how she had some work to catch up on, but she was assured that the planet was entirely beautiful and peaceful - all in all perfect for the crewmember in need of some rest.
She was halfway through a stack of PADDs when Uhura informed her Dr. McCoy was calling from the planet; she pushed them aside for the moment and prepared to fend off another attempt to get her to beam down.
"Yes, Bones?"

She grabbed hold of his arm and steered him towards the exit, either way. "Let's get out of here."

She pushed through the door and was greeted by... a unicorn. Eyeing her. Dubiously.

"Jim."

"I'd call this officially surreal."
- Not necessarily in a bad way.

...Especially since the Jim!double was feeling the original up a little.

Jim-the-original was woefully realizing that, yes, she needed to get back to the business of Finding Out What the Hell's Going On.

...Speaking of the original, this was quite possibly one of the few occasions where she couldn't seem to figure out what to do with herself. UH.
