Jim spent the intervening time gleefully poking around in her crew's business. Scotty alone had to yell her out of Engineering twice - though with more than a touch of affection in her tone. Jim found a note on her communicator later pointing out she just might happen to be in the Rec Room at 2100 hours, should the Captain feel the need to drop by.

At 1800 hours, she was already settled into an easily-spotted table with a cup of coffee, enjoying her opportunity to creepily spy on her crew in person. (They knew they loved it.)
